URGENT: Chow Mix Needs Foster Home

Senior Chow, Chained and Neglected Most Of His Life, Paces Back and Forth

NEEDS FOSTER PLEASE!!
PLEASE CROSSPOST

Dexter is an 11-yr. old chow mix living on a chain. He is already neutered and weighs about 50 lbs. Unfortunately, Dexter has been neglected for the majority of his life and paces back and forth as his chain drags in the dirt. His owner has agreed to relinquish Dexter to Dogs Deserve Better but a foster home is urgently needed. We have no place for him to go. Dexter is friendly with people, small children, and other dogs. He has not been tested with cats.

Adopt a Black and Rust Chow Mix!

Charlie is the sweetest dog and a volunteer and staff favorite at the shelter! A black and rust-colored chow chow mix, he looks like a little lion or teddy bear. He has a big heart and loves to give kisses! Even if you do not live in the area, you can adopt him. http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/19360457

Charlie is a fluffy fellow — very soft indeed! He has such an expressive face too! He is a smart boy — he managed to make it here in one piece as a stray. He has a handsome black-with-rust-colored coat, and he weighs in at 71 compact pounds.

Charlie is a wonderful adult dog: he is calm and cheerful. His tail is shorter (perhaps it was docked?), but he wags it vigorously when he meets a friend. He is very alert and is a terrific boy.

His fee is only $72.50, which includes neutering/spaying, vaccinations, microchip/registration, vet health exam, rabies voucher, and county license.

Warning: if you visit him, you'll fall in love!
