Annie is a beautifully unique Bulldog mix. She is approximately 2 years old and weighs 35 lbs. She came in as a stray through Animal Control, but doesn't look to have been stray very long. She had no collar or identification on her, so we have no indication that she was owned except for her sweet personality and love for people :) She seems to get along great with other dogs, but has not been tested with cats yet.
Rocky is a stunning Shepherd/Retriever mix. He is approximately 1.5 years old and weighs 36 lbs. He came in as a stray through Animal Control and is noticeably underweight :( We have no idea how long he has been a stray or if he was abandoned by his owner. He seems to love people and attention. He is a sweet boy that deserves a wonderful family to take him in. Heartworm negative.
Matt is a gorgeous Pit mix. He is approximately one and a half years old and weighs 37 lbs. He came in through Animal Control with Nate and is VERY protective over him. He is still a sweet boy and deserves a wonderful home. 
Nate is a very handsome Pit mix. He is approximately 6 months old and weighs 24.6 lbs. He came in through Animal Control with Matt and they are very close. Matt is very protective over Nate, and they get along great together! Both are very sweet boys though and need a forever home to take car e of them. 
Nigel is an incredibly sweet Bully mix. He is approximately 3 years old and weighs 52 lbs. He was found abandoned here at the shelter and we are treating a bullet wound he has on his neck. He did not act like it bothered him very badly, but it is already on it's way to healing up nicely :) He does not seem to get along well with dogs, but cats do not bother him. 
Calloway is a handsome Beagle mix. He is approximately 2 years old and weighs 23 lbs. He was found alone, but apparently has been seen wandering around for weeks at a local medical facility where people were known to abuse him by throwing things and yelling at him. He is such a sweet boy, but it is obvious he is not as confident now as he once was.. He has a collar on as if someone owned him at one time, but no ID or microchip. We hope to bring him out of his shell and show him the kindness due to him that he probably has not seen in a while. 
Freckles is an adorable Lab mix. He is approximately 6 months old and weighs 27.8 lbs. He came in with his friend, Fudge, as a stray through Animal Control. Freckles walks well on a leash and seems to get along with all other dogs and loves to give kisses to anybody that comes by him! He is a sweet boy that deserves a wonderful forever home. 
Fudge is an adorable Lab/Bully mix. She came in with her friend, Freckles, as a stray through Animal Control. She is a very sweet, curious girl that will make a wonderful companion. She behaves very well in an inside environment and walks well on a leash. She gets along great with other dogs and loves people! Heartworm negative
Skipper is an adorable mixed breed. He is approximately 5 years old and weighs 41.4 lbs. He came in with his buddy, Shadow, through Animal Control. Skipper is super goofy and definitely a people-lover! He gets along great with other dogs and has a very energetic personality. They are believed to be owned by the same person, but have yet to be reclaimed. 
Boomer is an adorable Hound mix. He is approximately 6 months old and weighs 35.2 lbs. He came in through Animal Control as an abandoned stray. He is very friendly and seems to get along with other animals just fine. His gorgeous eyes and adorable expression makes him unique and lovable. Heartworm negative
Max is a very handsome Bully/Lab mix. He is approximately a year old and weighs 53.8 lbs. He came in through Animal Control as a stray with Molly and her pups. They were all homeless and wandering around together. Even though we do not believe Max is the father, they still act like a family. This cutie has a very sweet personality and loves attention! Mary is an adorable Hound mix. She is approximately 8 months old and came in as an Owner Surrender with her sister, Jane. The owners gave no reason as to why they were surrendering them, but they were clearly unwanted. They are both skiddish, but Mary is starting to warm up a little each day. She gets along great with both cats and dogs :) She has a beautiful look and seems like she knows her forever home is around the corner! Heartworm negative. Jane is an adorable Hound mix. She is approximately 8 months old and came in as an Owner Surrender with her sister, Mary. Prince is an adorable Bully/Lab mix. He is approximately 1 year old and weighs 28.4 lbs. He was picked up as a stray wandering around a local grocery store. He was very friendly to everyone around him. Even children could run up to him and give him a belly rub. One unique feature about him is his left eye. It is half brown and half blue! It is the cutest thing and just adds to his spunky personality. He gets along great with both cats and dogs :) Sponsor See video
April is a very sweet, but shy Bully mix. She is approximately 9 months old and weighs 36.4 lbs. She was picked up at a church as a stray through Animal Control. No one around her claimed her, even though all said she was a very sweet girl. She seems to get along well with cats and dogs both and warms up to new people very quickly. Helen is a beautiful Lab/Bully mix. She is almost a year old and weighs 28 lbs. Animal Control responded to a call about a stray and brought her in, but we have several reasons to believe the one who made the call was actually the owner who just did not want her anymore :( She has such a wonderful personality that we could never understand why she was given up like that. Tammy is a beautiful Lab mix. She is approximately 9 months old and weighs 29.2 lbs. She was picked up from a local business because she stayed around and wouldn't leave. Most days, it was raining and she was t rying to stay out of it and keep herself dry. Days passed where she did not know how or when she would eat. Out of all of the people that passed her by, none took a chance on loving her. We know she is full of energy and love and just needs a forever home to take her in and show her that her kisses are appreciated! She gets along great with cats and dogs :) Heartworm negative. Brandy is considered PAST DUE. She is friendly, likes people, plays well with Cinnamon and PeePie. Walks well on a leash. Food aggressive towards other dogs, not people, you can take away the food and will not bite or show aggression towards you. She is about 45lb and 2 years old. Came in 5/31/2011. She was originally a part of a hoarding case and could not b e adopted or rescued for most of last year. She is now permitted to be rescued, adopted or euthanized. She gets along great with both cats and dogs depending on the environment she is put in. Heartworm negative.

Cinnamon is considered CODE RED. She is a 2 year old Pit Bull around 45lb. She has scars on her face and has a bad eye, to the point that she is blind in one eye now and pretty blind in the other. She will come to you if you call her first, and shows no aggression, but if you come up to her unannounced she gets startled. Friendly and likes people, plays we ll with PeePie and Brandy. Apollo is a very sweet Bully mix. He is approximately 1 year old and weighs 63.4 lbs. He came in through Animal Control as a stray but has a faded collar on, so unless he was intentionally dumped, someone may be missing him..
