Chip-ins/Sponsorship: For each animal Middle Mutts posts, a chipin is added to their profile to raise funds toward their rescue/vetting/transport. These funds transfer with the animal and go to the approved rescue less any expenses incurred while in the shelter or en route to the rescue including but not limited to: medical care, heartworm testing, boarding incurred if animal fails health cert or cannot make transport etc. Middle Mutts is 100% volunteer so all funds raised are applied to the cost of saving lives. In the event that Middle Mutts raises funds for an animal and are unable to find rescue, the funds raised will transfer to another animal selected by Middle Mutts. Middle Mutts is happy to provide details on where your donation was applied in the event that this occurs.
